Album of the Month -- "Anamorphic" by Tulipomania

Anamorphic is Tulipomania's newest release on the Sumcorda independent music cooperative. KRFC featured Tulipomania's I Swear EP in 2002, drawn then, as now, by Tom Murray's singular voice and delivery (Tom's voice has been much discussed; an adequate comparison is Modern Lovers era Jonathan Richman in falsetto). This year's album showcases Tom, the guitar, and, that vanishing of breeds, the competent guitar solo. Recommended tracks include "Same Old Song," "The Bum," "Take a Ride," "October," "And Laughed," and "That Bad."
